About our new interns:
Marie Brady is a local gal from Lothian , MD who graduated from the University of North Carolina last year. Marie has been working at PWRC for some time, assisting in the care of the sea duck colony here. She also has experience with owls, prairie and grassland birds, bird handling, and radio telemetry.

Laurie Lin has a zoology degree from University of Calgary and has been working for some time at the Calgary Zoo with their whooping crane colony. She already has experience raising chicks under isolation protocols. Laurie has also worked with a variety of other species at the zoo and breeding center.
