The 2013 Whooping Crane Festival is takes place tomorrow at the Berlin Conservation Club in Berlin, Wisconsin!
Come join the OM team and fellow craniacs tomorrow for a day filled with festivities, silent auction bidding and guest speakers.
The fun will begin bright and early as we gather to watch the Class of 2013 Whooping cranes train with their aircraft guides (weather permitting). Shortly after sunrise (6:36am Central time), we’ll be gathering at this location to watch the action. If you plan on joining us dress warmly and in layers and it does tend to be chilly first thing and then warm up quickly. Oh, and don’t forget your camera and a supply of tissues!
At 9am the festival opens at the Berlin Conservation Club, located at W898 Whiteridge Rd., Berlin, WI 54923. Admission to the festival is free and there will be lots going on. Beginning at 9am the Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the Berlin Rotary Club will fill everyone’s tummy.
Following breakfast the exhibits and activities will be in full swing.
