Training Re-cap

This morning was the first time our young Whooping cranes took to the skies with their aircraft leader since last Friday and they were very eager to go!

Watch the following clip to see how they didn’t bother to wait for Brooke to lead them – they decided to launch into flight on their own.

Do you have an anticipated departure date? With them flying so well, any consideration to leaving early to avoid last year’s weather issues?

They certainly seem to be “eager beavers” and want so badly to use their wings. Hope it continues on the trip south.

So special, you are doing such important work! I will be in Milwaukee Sept. 19-20, where will the Whoops be then?

We’ll still be at White River Marsh in Green Lake County, WI.

Nice flying! Nice camerawork! I enjoyed it too from Amsterdam, Holland.

Those whoopers were ready to roll! I love the one that was strolling back about as slowly as possible while all the others and Brooke waited patiently.
