Day 10 – Standing Down

While the winds this morning are from a favorable direction, they’re anything but smooth. One minute there is barely a puff of air and the next the leaves on the trees are rustling and the grasses are bending.

We’ll be waiting for better weather instead of risking a flight in gusty conditions.

Isn’t there a better way to teach migration of whooping cranes & other migratory beings?
Say, take the birds to location number one for a few days, then transport them to location number two for a few days, and so one. Could this idea be tried with Canada geese and see if they return to square one?
