Day 107 – Down

Strong winds aloft will keep us grounded in Decatur County, GA for at least another day. At 1000 ft it is blowing from the northwest but at 28 mph.

Tomorrow (Saturday) is looking favorable in terms of wind, however, we may have some fog to wait out.

    Heather – is there any area to watch the takeoff at Decatur Co?

      Yes, as I said – If you’re in the area and would like to head to the flyover location the viewing site is outside town of Climax, GA on Bell Dixon Road, just east of Fewell Road intersection.

      We have a stop between our current location and St. Marks NWR
