The youngest group of birds currently at site four forage for grasshoppers.

The roost area of site four. The adult leg-less crane suspended in the center is used to encourage the juveniles to roost and forage in the water. These decoy cranes were introduced to the newly hatched chicks at the Patuxent Wildlife Research Center.
