The chicks explore...
Once released from their shipping containers the cranes explore their new surroundings.

In no time at all they find the wet pen area and take the time for a quick dip.

Each gate and pen door is new to them so at first they are coaxed out with the puppet.

At the East Site, crane 307 has quickly established himself as the best follower of Cohort Two. He is very intent on the aircraft and often tries to peck at the instrument panel as he is doing in this image. Pilots have commented it's as if he intends to climb right into the pilots seat!
