Day Twenty-six - Nov. 10, 2003

Oldham Co., KY to Washington Co., KY

The group of young cranes was already airborne as Brooke sped down the grass strip...

In short order they were all in the air and on a southerly course.
At times the rising sun gave them a pinkish hue.
I'm sure a few folks below were a bit taken aback with the sight overhead.

At 9:00 a.m. they dropped their landing gear and touched down in Washington County, Kentucky; another 42 miles to the south.
