Day 30  - Nov. 14, 2003

Washington Co., KY  to Adair Co., KY

The cranes are released and Richard, out of frame to the right, attempts to catch up to them. Brooke Pennypacker is in the background, ready to fall in behind Richard and fly the chase position.
Richard is maneuvering his aircraft in front of the cranes.
And in a few short seconds they are lined up - eight on each side.

Brooke flies higher and behind Richard in case any of the cranes drop out.
Upon arrival in Adair County, the cranes are allowed some fun time in a nearby stream situated behind their pen before being led inside their predator-proof enclosure.
