2002 Migration South: Wisconsin to Florida

Photos taken Nov. 7, 2002. Flight from Boone Co., Indiana to Hendricks and Morgan Co., Indiana
Conditions were clear as the team departed Boone Co., Indiana shortly before 10am.
As they neared Indianapolis, patchy fog began rising.
Soon after the pilots had to gain altitude with the young cranes to avoid flying through the cloud bank.

Landing 5 minutes later and 24-miles short of our destination, conditions were again clear.

Brooke keeps the youngsters entertained as they wait for the ground crew to arrive and erect the travel enclosure.
