| The almost horizontal windsock early this morning says it all -- once again it's too windy to attempt a flight. The last thing we want is a repeat of the departure flight from Necedah last Sunday, Oct. 13th. |

| At each location the young cranes are kept safe in one of two predator-proof enclosures and given an ample supply of fresh water and crane chow. |
