The 2005 flock explores the area surrounding their pen at Chassahowitzka National Wildlife Refuge.
Members of the 2005 flock forage for food (above) and are provided "crane chow" at a feeding station (below). Over the winter the cranes will be removed from the chow and become completely dependent on natural sources of food.
