Getting Around

There are events happening at a number of locations over the weekend of Sept. 8-10 in Green Lake County. To help make your visit more enjoyable, we've created this page containing an embedded map to each of the locations that you can access on your mobile device.

Friday, September 8th - Field trip to Marsh Haven Nature Center in Fond du Lac County, WI. We'll board the school bus in Princeton at 9:30am for the 45 min. ride to Marsh Haven. Once there, we'll take part in a 1 hour presentation titled Birds & Butterflies & your backyard, followed by a 45 min. lunch break (incl in ticket price). After lunch, we'll be treated to a guided 45 min. walk around their marsh boardwalk before boarding the bus at 1pm for the ride back to Princeton. Trip includes lunch and bus transportation to/from Princeton, WI.

Festival Kick-off Dinner: Friday, September 9th 6pm. American Legion post 306 in beautiful Green Lake, Wisconsin. 518 Water St.

Whooping Crane Festival - Saturday, Sept. 9th - Starts 8 am. Princton School. Enjoy the day with a pancake breakfast, children's activity tent, silent auction, raffles, fantastic speaker seminars, vendors and information displays. NEW this year is a Nature Photography Workshop!

Saturday, September 9th - VFW Lodge, Princeton, Wisconsin. Pizza & Pasta night with 3rd Annual Trivia competition!

Sunday Morning your nature photography workshop will continue with in the field practice with your instructor Dave Heritsch. Meet on White River Road/Rustic Rd. #22 near White River Marsh whooping crane pensite. Park on south side along the Fox River.
