Getting Around

There are events happening at a number of locations over the weekend of Sept. 8-11 in Green Lake County. To help make your visit more enjoyable, we've created this page containing an embedded map to each of the locations that you can access on your mobile device.

Thursday evening Whooper Welcome - 6pm The Goose Blind in Green Lake, Wisconsin.

Friday, September 9th - Special tour of the International Crane Foundation. Meet in Princeton 7:30am and carpool. Tour begins at 9am.

Festival Kick-off Dinner: Friday, September 9th 6pm. American Legion in Princeton, Wisconsin.

Whooping Crane Festival - Saturday, Sept. 10th - Starts 8 am. Princton School. Enjoy the day with a pancake breakfast, children's activity tent, silent auction, raffles, fantastic speaker seminars, vendors and information displays. 

Saturday, September 10th - VFW Lodge, Princeton, Wisconsin. Pizza & Pasta night with 2nd Annual Trivia competition!

Sunday Morning Bird Walk, Sept. 11th - Starts 8am - White River Marsh with your guides Tom Schultz & Joe Duff. Bring your binoculars and your camera. 


Sunday Fox of the River Voyageur Canoe Paddle! Three (3) trips offered: 10am, 12pm, 2pm. Meet at the Hiestand Park Boat Launch in Princeton.
