Personality Characteristics: 718 is a "hang-loose" dude, very laid back and the only male in his group.

718 suffered with a
respiratory aliment since before he left Patuxent. Dr. Barry
Hartup of ICF diagnosed a blockage in the trachea that sometimes
results when a very young bird aspirates some food or water when
learning to eat.
The particle lodges just above
the lungs and begin grow fungi. The bird’s body tries to
compensate, and soon a blockage begins to form. Unfortunately
718's condition was inoperable.

725 hatched with a crossed beak, and also developed toe issues. These debilitations would have made it extremely difficult for the chick to feed and walk.
